Hes got the CPU overclocked to 3.2ghz right now.

The guy is asking for somewhere between $500 and $550 USD. Any concerns/praise for it or is the price too high? He spent $514 for the parts and shipping from Newegg so I figure no more than 550...
I'll be back.

You might need to upgrade your video card and total memory for the newest games, but other than that it looks good. And heck, I paid more for my vid card and memory than that entire computer. Go for it!

Oh, is there a monitor? What size / kind?

For the money it's not a bad system, though if you can it would be good to upgrade the graphics card, as Mal said, and increase the RAM to 1GB.

Firks..

Before you buy it make sure it will take at least a meg of ram, and a different graphic card. the LSI tech is the newest, I just got a dual graphic card, dual core tech system for 900 from Nanosys1.com. They build systems and Pit can tell you they are very reasonable. The buisness is on the campass of the U of M and I have had several computers built and upgraded. IMO getting this information is critical, it tells you whether you can upgrade the system or if this is new system with out dated but new parts. Email Kas he is into these things way more than me.

Vista is resourse heavy, DX10 will only be supported on Vista and the new NVidia 8800GTX is out which doesnt use pipelines anymore and natively uses DX10.
